Georgia Watch’s financial protection advocacy seeks to provide low-wealth individuals and communities the tools they need to attain and improve financial literacy, and gain access to financial products and services to close opportunity gaps and promote economic mobility.

Mission

Our mission is to ensure all Georgians have equitable access to a good quality of life. We strive to close opportunity gaps, reduce health disparities, and protect consumers’ hard-earned income. Through financial literacy workshops, Georgia Watch opens doors to the financial mainstream and increases financial security. Through state-level organizing and direct advocacy, Georgia Watch affects policy change to ensure Georgians are protected from predatory lending and have access to affordable loans.
