Since our founding, Walker's Legacy programming has provided educational training to thousands of women across the country resulting in more than $40 million in investments and loans, and more than $150 million in successfully awarded corporate, state, local, government, and nonprofit grants and contracts. Annually the organization connects more than 5,000 minority women, representing a total network of more than 60,000 multicultural women in business, in person across the nation through national and local affiliate conferences and business networking programming, which operate across our 10-city footprint. Walker’s Legacy has a national team of 30 employees all dedicated to and focused exclusively on the implementation of our programming to support women of color in entrepreneurship, making one of the largest nation teams with this exclusive focus.
